DIED IN THE LINE OF DUTY FROM MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS

Policeman Edward Kelly, thirty-eight, Motorcycle Squad attached to the 55th and Pine Street station, died at Misericordia Hospital from injuries received from a Motorcycle accident. Riding south on 56th Street when his motorcycle collided with an automobile at Walnut Street. Both his legs were fractured and he massive internal injuries. The motorist, John Clinton, of Washington Avenue near 58th street hurried him to the Misericordia Hospital where he died. Clinton was placed under arrest.  Officer Kelly lived at 250 South 52d street and is survived by his widow and two children.
