Patrolman James Wilson, badge number 3013, Thirtieth District, while on detail duty at Front and ā€œGā€ Streets, on the Pennsylvania Railroad watching coal cars for thieves, was struck by a freight train and instantly killed. Wilson was forty-two years of age at the time of his death.
