Policeman George Freeman was making his rounds when he died as a result of electrocution while making a pull on the police call box at 53rd and Haverford Avenue. He is survived by his wife Maggie E. Freeman sons Alken and Mark from the late Ellen Freeman. He worked the 29th Police District and lived at 6050 Girard Avenue.
